Crawling Out Of A Hole

"I am angry I am ill and I'm As Ugly As Sin"

A month of shit. A month of not being able to move with fatigue, a month of pustulent throat infections, 80-a-day coughing fits and vile 'dockers omelettes' first thing in the morning. A month I want to leave behind me in a ditch to rot.

In this time, mother has been filling with green cancerous fluid at every opportunity and receiving chemotherapy. Her wig scares me and I prefer her to wear the turban thingy.

This could be the last stand. Not that you'd know from talking to her..............

Thanks everyone.

I'm better now, back to normal, just a viral thing that seems to have been bubbling about in me for about two months.

Mum is doing as well as can be expected. Just tired and uncomfortable with the fluid draining process. The chemo should slow that down, but nobody knows just how much.

Again, thanks for yr thoughts and best wishes. Much appreciated.

Bloody hell. You kept all that quiet! Hope your mother perks up. I think she should stick wth the turban, it's so much more elegant than a wig.

Hi Clairwil. I haven't had the energy to be honest. To make things worse, I've been seconded to some God-awful call centre section and I really do want to give it the old Reggie Perrin treatment, at least as far as employment goes. There is a way out of it, but by the same token, there are ways of coping with it. I'm always taking the latter fucking option, so I think it's about time I took the crybaby route and stomped my feet a bit.

Thanks for the best wishes, I shall pass them on to mum. I'll also let her know you're on my side with the turban. That said, the wig cost a few bob, so maybe I won't say too much.... ;)

I'll be back in circulation soon. I have a week away with my girlfriend in mid October, then I shall be back, right as rain, with a blittle luck.
